American director Lee Breuer opened his production of Sam Shepard's “The Curse of the Starving Class” last week at the Saratov Theater Yunogo Zritelya. It was an event that brought in guests from around the world — including directors, producers and critics from France, Germany, Bulgaria and the United States.

SARATOV, September 2 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia’s latest hikes in the prices of buckwheat are speculative - speculators have been emptying the shelves not without connivance from the big retail chains to resell the cereal at exorbitant prices on the market, President Dmitry Medvedev said at a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council devoted to domestic food market control on Thursday.
